Lungs – What is the Mind-Body Connection?
Lungs represent your ability to exchange vital life force energy – love – through breath. When you are feeling enthusiastic about life, you breath deeply and your lungs are full with life force energy. Without enough life force energy, you become stuck in old thoughts or habits because you are not fully renewing your energy source.
Almost disorders of the lungs or lung cavity inhibit your ability to breath fully. Inadequate breath causes the lungs to depress which in turn causes you to feel depressed or repressed.
Asthma – What is the Mind-Body Connection?
Asthma is about losing your sense of self as a result of wanting acknowledgement from others. This causes you to ‘live outside of yourself’ as your focus is on the happiness of others more than your own. You need to believe that you can give yourself everything that you need to feel happy and fulfilled. You need to take back your power and start standing up for what you want for yourself.

Other Names: Pleurisy, Pneumonia, Bronchitis
Your enthusiasm for life has become depressed because you have devoted your time and energy to someone or something outside of yourself. This drains your life force energy because you are not doing something you really want to do that makes you feel passionate and vital. You need to start devoting your energy to inspires you and uplifts your heart.
Lung Cancer – What is the Mind-Body Connection?
You have held on to feeling hurt from past experiences which has not allowed you to move on with your life. You feel as though someone or something has taken away your authority and you have lost the ability to have what you want in your life You need to let go of the past and feel strong in your ability to give yourself the life that you long for.
