Liver – What is the Mind-Body Connection?
The liver is one of the most resilient and hardest working organs in the body so it affected by intense emotions such as rage, bitterness, despair and jealousy. When these emotional states become chronic we become ’emotionally toxic’, and the liver’s ability to process toxins starts to decline.The liver particularly relates to issues of control and responsibility, therefore chronic complaining, self-deception and self-judgment will often adversely affect the functioning of the liver.
Hepatitis – What is the Mind-Body Connection?

Hepatitis occurs as a response to feeling powerless, usually in relation to an outside circumstance such as another person or physical security. The liver is weakened as a result of giving away your power and not being able to process and release these insecurities. Since the liver is such a hardy organ, it may also indicate that you can be resistant to changing this aspect of yourself. You need to find the courage to face your yourself and realise your own strength.
