Every person’s holistic healing process is different, but the one thing they have in common is the intention to heal on all levels of mind, body and soul. There are so many holistic healing resources that can give you the knowledge, skills and impetus to continue seeking a better way of being.

A Word of Advice: Knowledge vs Experience
Remember also, that it is often best to try a variety of styles of learning including reading, group work, one-on-one sessions, educational courses, and whatever else you can find that resonates with you at the time.
In my opinion, the most important aspect of any holistic healing resource is that it allows you to experience what it is that you are learning. This is what I mean:
- When you read a book, you may be particularly touched by something as it applies to you personally
- When you attend a course, you may recognise something about yourself and change it
- When you are on a retreat, you may have the time and space to create a new positive habit
- When you see a holistic healing practitioner, you experience the effects of the treatment
After all, when you have a personal experience that applies what you have learnt, you are in the process of healing. Without having a personal experience, you are simply having session of intellectual stimulation as a result of discovering new information…this is also valuable and necessary, but without the experience that goes with it, you are not integrating the information into your whole being, in other words, into your life. At the end of the day, experience is what makes the difference.
